PALEA Takes Case to USTR

Philippine Airlines Employees' Association (PALEA) scored the Aquino government at a hearing of the United States Trade Representative Office in Washington DC. At the said hearing, PALEA officers faced-off with Labor Sec. Rosalinda Baldoz.

PALEA charged that the Aquino government "has abused its power to assume jurisdiction of strikes thereby curtailing workers’ rights to freely organize and bargain collectively."
